My month by month summary of my full sail university experience….you read this and you wouldn’t believe it really happened to me. I am CONVINCED this next year will be a breeze for me.
November 6, 2009 – I was working a flight and got caught in extreme turbulence. Got thrown up in the air and partially tore my MCL.
February 2, 2010 – I had gallbladder surgery and no longer have a gallbladder.
March 17, 2010 – My fiancée got into a serious ski accident and almost died in France. He shattered his pelvis, right leg, and broke his back. I was the one who got to go back to France and take care of him. I FINALLY decided after all of this to take a couple months off from Full sail.
June 29, 2010 – My car was broken into and I was an IDIOT and left my ‘schoolbag’ in my car with my laptop computer and my hard drive. The bag was stolen. I no longer had a MacBook Pro. I no longer had any of my work. I took another month off from Full Sail cause I didn’t have a computer. EVERYONE BIG LESSON LEARNED: ALWAYS BACK UP EVERYTHING ON IDISK OR ON ANOTHER COMPUTER SO YOU CAN ACCESS IT AGAIN.
October 29, 2010 My grandma died.
I can say that this book reading is really a great, refreshing book after my past few months. It just helps remind me to keep a positive attitude, always look at the possibilities that are ahead of me, and stay light hearted when life throws you a lemon. I am not writing this for people to feel “sorry’ for me. I am just writing it cause it is almost hard to believe for me that all of this happened, and I am still rockin and rolling! I have learned a lot both emotionally AND academically. What a great and interesting year.

good to hear that after all of this you still are able to see the forest from the trees and feel good about life. Good thoughts to hold on to.
